Elephone P6000 Pro is coming soon, with 3GB RAM variant

Elephone have updated the P6000, and the new will be called P6000 Pro, better CPU with MediaTek MT6753. But besides that, the P6000 Pro also gets a 3GB RAM version and that's actually the true upgrade.

Elephone have updated the CPU of the P6000 to the newer MediaTek MT6753 to make the P6000 Pro. Besides the newer CPU, the P6000 Pro also gets a 3GB RAM variant. This is the bit that truly sounds like an upgrade to me, much more so than the CPU.

The rest of the phone remains the same; there’s the same 5-inch 1280 x 720p display, 13 mega-pixel main camera, 2 mega-pixel front camera and a 2700mAh battery. If you haven’t done so yet, you can read our review of the impressive P6000 here.

This does sound like an interesting ‘upgrade’, for not a lot of people believe the MT6753 to be better than the MT6752. Nonetheless, performance should get a bump from the MT6732 that the P6000 had; it’ll be interesting to see how much of a bump there will be on this.

It can be pre-ordered on GearBest for $139.99/$129.99 for the 3GB/2GB RAM versions and should be available via most other channels soon.
