These devices went on flash sale in China on August 16 and made a world record by selling around 800,000 units in just 12 hours.The unlocked Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 and the Redmi Note 2 Prime can now be pre-ordered globally from Gearbest. The Redmi Note 2 is available in Black and White colour variants and has been priced at US $168.85 whereas the upgraded Redmi Note 2 Prime is also available in Black and White and is priced at US $205.85.
